We had such a great time with Peaceable Kingdom at Toy Fair 2017! We got to see them not once, but twice. Once at a special offsite location, and once at the Toy Fair show floor, where they gave us wine and cheese…not the litlgeeks, the litlgeeks weren’t there because they are too litl for Toy Fair, but mommygeek and daddygeek LOVE wine and cheese! That said, we also love toys. So thank you for the wine and cheese, but thank you more for showing us your incredible line up of games. Peaceable Kingdom has some truly incredible games to share with you in 2017, starting with Mole Rats in Space and so many great “Games for 2 year olds”! Check out the gallery and the official product information below the gallery for more!
Famed game creator Matt Leacock, in partnership with award-winning cooperative gaming brand Peaceable Kingdom, brings you the latest exceptional cooperative board game experience with Mole Rats in Space. Matt Leacock catapulted to board game fame with the release of Pandemic, which continues to top Amazon sales long after its debut in 2009. He followed that up with blockbusters Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert. He has since become world-renowned as a cooperative game design expert; this is his first foray into games for kids.
In cooperative games, players work together to defeat the game rather than each other. Kids learn to work together as a team in respectful and compassionate ways. They learn to share, make decisions together and trust one another while also having fun. Peaceable Kingdom cooperative games organically create community.

Kids get to play leader, follower and even peacemaker – sometimes all in the course of a single game. At the same time, with cooperative games, kids get to experience winning and losing – except that the focus is defeating the game, not each other. This kind of play helps build valuable life skills today so they can play well in the greater world tomorrow.
