The litlgeeks live in a highly tech advanced home.  That’s mostly because I (daddygeek…litldad), am a tech nerd.  iPads, iPhones, Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows, Linux, TVOS, the litlgeeks have exposure to all the wonders that those devices can provide.  I say this because I’m trying to make the point that it’s going to take some really neat tech stuff to impress the litlgeeks (and me!).  Enter Boogie Board.  Our friends at Boogie Board sent us over a pair of some of their most fun and useful products, the Scribble n’ Play and the Jot 4.5.  The litlgeeks were thrilled and I was very impressed too!

Jot 4.5 (buy me here)!

The Jot 4.5 eWriter featuring Clear View is an amazing tool for young kids.  With a detachable tray, kids can insert flash cards.  Using these flash cards kids can learn to properly write their numbers, letters, work out math problems and much much more.  The kit includes letter cards, but numbers and other flash cards are also available.  For $19.99 the amount you can save on pens, pencils, paper, and real world waste is an incredible value.  It is AMAZING filling the screen and watching your writing blink away at the touch of the button.

Scribble n’ Play (buy me here)!

The Scribble n’ Play features Color Burst technology.  When you put any of the included writing utensils (or your finger nail!) to the the screen, your writing and drawing can come out in multiple bright colors.  The design of this eWriter is genius, it includes a case that covers the thin and light tablet.  Four various writing utensils fit on the corners of the case for easy stow and carry.  Each writing utensil has several ways / contacts to write with and that will give hours and hours of drawing fun to whoever wants to use this.  Just like with the Jot, a press of a button and your writing disappears.

If you want to save what you draw with either the Scribble n’ Play or the Jot 4.5, you can use the eWriter app found in the App or Play Store.  You snap a picture, upload, share to your hearts content.
