The litlgeeks found an awesome experiment on the Internet to share with you in litlscience style!  Bouncy Eggs!

Ingredients:

  • Egg
  • Jar or Cup
  • White Vinegar

Steps:

  1. Put egg in jar
  2. Cover egg with white vinegar and seal jar
  3. Let egg soak in white vinegar for 24 hours at least a week
  4. Remove egg from jar
  5. Dry off egg (the shell should have disintegrated all by itself!)
  6. bounce egg and have a blast! (don’t bounce from too high, or splat!)
