SDCC Exclusive Blaster Vs Soundwave Pack

Omnibots Pack

The Game

  • The Transformers Trading Card Game will be available starting 9/28/2018.
  • The Starter Kit will run $14.99.  So far, only an Autobot Starter Kit has been announced, but we will probably see a Decepticon one too.  Starter has 4 bot cards, 40 booster cards, battle damage sheet and rules.
  • Booster Packs will feature 2 bot cards and 7 battle cards for $3.99.
  • Each card is double sided, one for bot mode, one for alt mode.
  • Bot cards feature numbers for Health, Attack, and Defense.
  • Each card also features a star count.  The Stars are how you build teams.  The out of box rule is 25 stars or less per team, but home rules can do whatever they like (game tested with 25 star teams).
  • Transformers TCG is based on an entirely new battle system heavily featuring the transformation of bots, with different abilities and stats per bot or alt mode.
  • This is a battle card game. The point is to knock out your opponent.
  • On a turn you:
    • Draw a battle card
    • you can transform
    • you must attack
  • The art of the game is based off of Transformers Generations
  • Rare cards include unique abilities and traits
  • Each game should run around 10-15 minutes
  • PARENTS! There are two sets of rules for this game, simple rules, and advanced.
    • Simple - Add your defense or attack score on your bot card to the red or blue rectangles on two battle cards for your attack / defense strength, and deduct the difference from bot health.  This is a fantastic, fun, and easy way to help your litlgeek with simple math!  This is a fast, fun, and furious way to play!
    • Advanced – In the advanced rules you are tallying attack, defense, but you are also measuring in buffs and actions on the battle cards, as well as special bot abilities, and you retain a hand of battle cards vs. both players drawing from the same deck.  This method of play involves some reading, strategy, and logic skills and should be taken up by kids at least age 8 and up.
